  • 2 cups  Khapli Wheat Flour
  • ¾ cup warm water (adjust as needed)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp cold-pressed oil or ghee (optional, for softness)

Step 1: Mixing the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine the Khapli wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Slowly add water and knead the mixture until you have a smooth and pliable dough. Let the dough rest for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 2: Rolling the Roti

Divide the Khapli Wheat flour dough into small balls. Take one ball at a time and roll it out into a thin, round roti using a rolling pin and some dry flour to prevent sticking.

Step 3: Cooking the Khapli Roti

Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled out Khapli roti on the hot tawa and cook for a minute or until you see bubbles forming. Flip the roti and cook the other side until light brown spots appear.

Step 4: Serving the Roti

Once the Khapli Roti is cooked, remove it from the tawa and brush it with a little ghee or butter for added flavor. Serve hot with your favorite curry or side dish.
